Dozulé and the Church

Friday, July 7, 1978, in the chapel

The Light appears to me in the place of the Most Holy, a little wider than usual. Then I make the sign of the cross as Jesus had asked me the previous time, and I say:

“If you are Satan, disappear.”

As soon as I made the sign of the cross and said these words, I felt a peace and trust taking hold of me. Jesus then appears, smiles at me and says to me:

“Tell them what you see”(I repeat very loudly what I see): “I see Jesus sitting(1); before Him a Table like the Altar” (but the altar, that of the chapel, was no longer there; it was an all-white Table, like a white stone. On the Table, books were open 6 or 7, I don’t know exactly. Then another Book, also open, that Jesus has in His Hands).

The following says:

“Do you want to be so kind as to say this out loud?”

I repeat each sentence:

“Beware, you all who have concealed the prophetic words that have been delivered to you; the Book that I am holding between My Hands is the Book of Life(2), which My Father has just granted me the power to open and is on this blessed and Sacred Mountain; place he has chosen, which will renew all things. Here you will see the Holy City, the New Jerusalem(3).

And behold, the dwelling place of God will appear among you.

But then those who fight shall be beat in the chest and refuse to listen to the words that this humble servant has uttered. You whom I have asked to proclaim My Message, you are guilty of leaving the world in ignorance of what must happen soon. Do not support you on your own reason.

Why do you fight since I have given you my dogmatic grace?

Out of pity, I ask you to listen to Me. My Heart overflows with mercy.”

Jesus gets up. The Table disappears. Smile at me at length, then he says to me:

“Tell the priest and all those who will find what you have just seen and heard; you will remember this all day long”.

Jesus then suddenly disappears and I fall back into the darkness.

(1)- Judgment of the Nations

(2)”Whoever was not inscribed in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire” (Rev 20:15)

(3) “I saw that I came down from Heaven, from God, the Holy City, a New Jerusalem” “Behold the Tent of God with men; He will dwell with them; they will be their people and He, God- with them, shall be their God” (Rev 21:2-3).

Friday, October 6, 1978

Like almost every day of class, leading my children to school, I go to the chapel to pay a visit to Christ in the tabernacle. I arrive at 9 o’clock; I’m alone. At exactly 9:15, the Light appears to me. I thought I’d go looking for Sister Bruno, but I didn’t have time: Jesus appeared to me, with his hands outstretched to me, as to welcome me. He said to me:

Make the sign of the Cross.”

He always smiles at me. Then he puts his hands together, and with a sad look he says:

“Pray and do penance without fading.”

Your countenance was serious. He says in secret to me:

“For the third time, Magdalene, I ask you to be My Apostle, fulfilling the task I have asked you(1). Don’t be sure, you’ll be adamant because of Me. But then children of the Light will rise in this city.”

And after a silence:

“Today you still see Me, but you will not see Me anymore, and yet I will continue to visit you through My Body and My Blood.”

After a break:

“But when this Cross is lifted from the earth, then you will reveal to me, for at that moment I will reveal to the Churches the mysteries that are written in the Book of Life which has just been opened. Tell the bishop what you have just seen and heard.”

APOCALYPSE 20, 11-12

“I saw then a great White Throne and the One that sits on it. Then I saw the dead, big and small, standing before the Throne, and books opened. Another Book was also opened, that of Life. The dead were then judged, according to their conduct, from what was written in the books.

And I heard even as if the voice of a large crowd. The crowd cried out:

“Hallelujah! The Lord, our God, has come to Reinar. Let us be joyful and content, and give glory to God, for the time has come for the Wedding of the Lamb. Your wife has prepared. He was given to dress in bright, pure linen. (linen means the righteous works of the saints)

“I also saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, descending from Heaven, from God, clothed as bride adorned for Her Bridegroom. Then I heard a strong voice that came out of the throne:

“This is the Abode of God with men. He’s going to live with them. They will be His People and God Himself with them, they will be their God. He will wipe every tear from your eyes. Death will no longer exist, and there will be no more mourning, no more cry, no pain, for the above things have passed.

“The most holy Roman Church firmly believes and confesses that on the day of judgment all men will appear with their own bodies before the court of Christ to account for their own deeds. At the end of time, the Kingdom of God will reach its fullness. Then the righteous will rise with Christ forever, glorified in body and soul, and the universe itself will be transformed. Then God will be “All in All” (1 Cor 15:28), in Eternal Life” CIC 1059-1060

United to Christ by Baptism, believers already truly participate in the divine life of the risen Christ, but this life remains “hidden with Christ in God” (Col 3:3). “He has risen us with Christ and with Him makes us sit in heaven by virtue of our union with Christ Jesus” (Eph 2:6). Nourished with His Body in the Eucharist, we already belong to the Body of Christ. When we rise on the last day, we too will be “manifested with him, full of glory” (Col 3:4) While awaiting that day, the body and soul of the believer shall already partake in the dignity of being “of Christ”; hence the requirement of respect for one’s own body, but also for that of others, particularly when he suffers:

“The body, however, is not for prostitution, it is for the Lord, and the Lord is for the body; brothers, the body is not for immorality, but for the Lord and the Lord for the body. Do you ignore the that your bodies are members of Christ? God, who has risen the Lord, will also raise us up to us by His power. Do you ignore the fact that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in you and that you have received from God? You don’t belong to yourselves. Then glorify God in your body” (1 Cor 6:5,19-20)(CIC 999-1004)

The Resurrection of all the dead, “of the righteous and of the unjust” (Act 24:15), will precede the Last Judgment. This will be “the time when all who rest in the tombs will hear His Voice and go out: those who have done good, for a resurrection of Life; those who have done evil, for a resurrection of judgment” (Jn 5:28-29).

Then Christ “will come in His Glory, and all the Angels with Him… and all nations shall be gathered together in His Presence, and He shall separate men from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats, and shall put the sheep at His right hand, and the goats on His left… and these will go unto eternal punishment, and the righteous will go to Eternal Life” (Mt 25:3133,46)

“all evil that evil does is recorded without them knowing it. On the day that “God shall not be silent” (Sl 50:3), he will turn to the wicked:

“I had,” he will say, “put on earth my poor people for you. I, your Chief, were in heaven at the right hand of My Father, but on earth my members were starving. If you had given to My Members, your gift would have come to the Head. When I put my poor people on earth, I constituted them My treasurers to collect your good works in My treasure; but you have placed nothing in his hands, which is why you possess nothing with Me” (St Augustine)

“Not letting the poor participate in their own possessions is stealing them and taking their lives. We do not have our goods, but theirs” (St. John Chrysostom)

“You have tasted the Blood of the Lord and do not even recognize your brother. God delivered you from all your sins and invited you to this Table and you have not yet become more merciful” (St John Chrysostom)

The Last Judgment will take place on the occasion of christ’s glorious return.

“When the Son of Man comes in His Glory, all the nations of the earth shall be gathered before Him, and He shall separate one from another…” (Mt 25:31)

Only the Father knows the time and day of this Judgment, only He decides of His Advent. Through His Son, Jesus Christ, He will then pronounce His definitive Word on all history. We will then know the ultimate meaning of all the Work of creation and of the entire Economy of salvation, and understand the admirable paths by which His Providence will have led everything to His ultimate end.

The Last Judgment will reveal that God’s Righteousness triumphs from all the injustices committed by His creatures and that His Love is stronger than death(Ct 8:6).

The Message of the Last Judgment is a call to conversion while God still gives men “the favourable time, the time of salvation”(2 Cor 6:2).

The Last Judgment inspires the holy fear of God.

It commits to the Justice of the Kingdom of God.

He proclaims the “blessed hope” (Tt 2:13) of the Lord’s Turn that “will come to Be Glorified in the Person of His Saints and to be admired in the person of all those who believed” (2 Thess 1:10)(CIC 1038-1041)

At the end of time, the Kingdom of God will reach its fullness. After the Universal Judgment, the righteous will forever be with Christ, glorified in body and soul, and the universe itself will be renewed. (CIC 1042)

At the end of time, the Kingdom of God will reach its fullness. After the Universal Judgment, the righteous will forever be with Christ, glorified in body and soul, and the universe itself will be renewed. (CIC 1042)

What is resuscitation?

In death, which is the separation of the soul and body, the body of man falls into corruption, while his soul goes to meet God, waiting to be reunited with his glorified body. God, in His Omnipotence, will definitively restore the INcorruptible life to our bodies, uniting them to our souls by the virtue of the Resurrection of Jesus.

Who will be resurrected?

All men who have died: “Those who have done good will go out to a resurrection of Life; those who have done evil, for a resurrection of judgment” (Jn 5:29)

In what way?

Christ was risen with His Own Body:

See my hands and feet: It is I!” (Lk 24.39)

But He did not return to an earthly life.

Likewise, in Him “all shall be resurrected with their own bodies, which they have now” (DS 801); however, this body will be “transfigured into a body of glory”, in “spiritual body” (1 Cor 15:44):

But will anyone say, how do they raise the dead? What body do they come back with?

foolish! What you sow doesn’t take back life unless you die. And what sows is not the body of the future plant that must be born, but a simple grain of wheat or any other species. Sown corruptible, the body resurrects incorruptible. The dead will rise incorruptible. Indeed, it is necessary that this corruptible being should review incorruptibility and that this mortal being is reviewed by immortality”(1 Cor 15:35-53)

This “How” surpasses our imagination and understanding, being accessible only in faith.

Definitely “on the last day” (Jn 6:39-40.44-54; 11.24); “At the end of the world.”

Indeed, the resurrection of the dead is closely associated with the Parusia of Christ:

“When the Lord, at the sign given, to the voice of the Archangel, and to the sound of the divine trumpet, descends from Heaven, then the dead in Christ shall rise first(1 Thess 4:16)

Friday, March 28, 1975 – in the parish church of Dozulé

I’ll be back at the church at night at 8:30. There were about 50 people gathered inside the church to participate in the celebration of the Passion. Suddenly, from my place, I see the Light, as it appears before each apparition, not in the tabernacle of the high altar, but at the bottom of the church – where the Eucharist is located this Holy Friday- in another tabernacle.

The Lord presented himself as usual, his hands outstretched to me. I knelt down, and he said to me:

“Say this aloud: Why do you weep over the death of Jesus Crucified, whereas today He is alive among you? Weep before for those who today, even more than yesterday, persecute him”

Then: “Go back three steps, repeat what I will dictate to you, with the arms in the shape of a cross”

In this Jesus crossed his hands and raised his eyes to heaven as to pray; his eyes were serious and sad — I felt his sorrow; I repeated aloud, one after the other, every sentence that dictated to me:

“Mercy, my God, for those who blaspheme you. Forgive them, they don’t know what they’re doing.

Pity, my God, for the scandal of the world. Deliver them from the spirit of Satan.

Mercy, my God, for those who, today even more than yesterday, persecute you; pour out your mercy in human hearts”.

Jesus then lowered his hands. At that moment, I saw a ball on which their feet were set. He held out his hands high for assistance. From the palm of His hands came rays: some white, some red. All the while, the Lord looked at those who were present. He said to me:

“Say this to them (what I repeated aloud): Know that Jesus of Nazareth triumphed from death, that His Kingdom is eternal, and that He comes to overcome the world and time

Tuesday, June 12, 1973, at 7:00 p.m., in the chapel

I was with the Sisters of The Pensionato St. Joseph and the Parish Priest in the chapel. We had just prayed the rosary and the vespers; suddenly I felt a wind caress my face; I thought the door had opened and that this created a chain with the window, but it was nothing like that. I then went to the Parish Priest who was in his chair before me; I asked him if he had felt a wind, for this seemed a little strange to me. He said no to me. Then, suddenly, a clarity arises in the place of the tabernator, and immediately Jesus appears as the first time he had seen Him; hands outstretched to me as to welcome me. It was wonderfully beautiful; that light was dazzling with beauty. Jesus said to me:

“Have the kindness to bring yourselves here”

I then approached very close. Jesus said to

“Say this aloud: “I am the First and the Last and the Living, and All that has been given to you: I am Love, Peace, Joy, Resurrection, and Life. Kiss the people here for love and charity for others”.

I kissed the people present.

“Have the kindness to repeat this:

Attendite, quod in aure auditis, praedicate super tecta.
Per te Magdalena civitas Dozulea docorabitur per Sanctam Crucem ET aedificat Sanctuarium Domino in monte jus. Terribilis est lócus iste”

“Attention! What you hear in your ear, proclaim it on the roofs. For you, Magdalene, the city of Dozulé will be prayed for by the Holy Cross, and it builds a sanctuary to the Lord on his mountain. How terrible this place is” (Dedication of a church, intróito, Gen 28:16).

When I asked Christ:

“Lord, for the love I have for you, tell me, what is the great mystery of Dozulé?”

The only answer I had was this:

“Dozulé is the Jacob’s Ladder”

“The Church venerates the Cross, singing, “Hail, O Cross, only hope.” The cross is the only sacrifice of Christ, “the only mediator between God and men.” Outside the Cross there is no other ladder to climb to Heaven” (Santa Rosa de Lima)(CIC 618)

Recognized as the Son of God, My Holy Cross will then be the blessed Sign that ancient Israel recognized Me as its Savior. And then I myself will stop the last struggle that will make of this People, the People definitively elected by the Supreme God, “The God of Abram, Isaac, and Jacob”

Then, in this peace rediscovered, they will see united, those of the Old Testament, with those of the Cross, who recognized him who was and who comes in the Name of God “Y.h.Sh.WH”

The Temple will no longer be deserted. The preaching made to the Jews on the day of the Branches:

“Behold, your House- the Temple of Y.h.Sh.WH- it’s going to be deserted! And I tell you, from now on, you will not see Me anymore – to Me, Y.h.Sh.WH.- UNTIL THE DAY YOU WILL SAY:

Blessed be he who comes in the Name of Y.h.Sh.WH. Behe, He whose Name has an Eternal Kingdom”

“On the threshold of His Passion, Jesus, he announced the ruin of the Temple, of which there will be no stone left unturned. There is here the announcement of a sign of the end times that will begin with your own Easter. This is why his bodily death, decreed, announces the destruction of the Temple(destruction) which will manifest the entry into a new era of the history of salvation: “The time comes when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will ye worship the Father” (Jn 4:21). (CIC 586)

“The Temple prefigures its own mystery. If it announces the destruction of the Temple, it is as a manifestation of its own death and the entry into a new era of the history of salvation, in which its Body will be the definitive Tem
ple” (CIC 593)

“What our spirit, that is, our soul, is in relation to our members, so is the Holy Spirit in relation to the members of Christ, to the body of Christ which is the Church. The Holy Spirit makes the Church “the Temple of the Living God” (2 Cor 6:16) (CIC 797)

“How will you build the Temple and the city?

Oh! It will not be you, but it will be God who will build these new places. You would only have to give him your good will. Good will is to remain in Me. Living my doctrine is already goodwill. Be united with good will. United to Me, until you form one body, in each of its parts and particles, fed by the same sap. A single building, which is supported on a single basis and conserved united by a mystical cohesion. But just as without the help of the Father, which I taught you to ask and that I will ask for you, before you die, you could not be in Charity, in Truth, in Life, that is, still in Me and with Me in God the Father and in God Love, because we are one God, so I tell you to have God in you , so that you may be the Temple that will not know the end. You won’t be able to do it for yourselves. If God does not build and cannot build where he can no longer have his abode, men uselessly agitate to build and rebuild.

The new Temple, My Church, will arise only when the heart hosts God and he with you, like a living stone, will build up your Church.

The Temple that God seeks is the one that your Faith will have built on you, within your heart. This invisible temple that I, Jesus, seek, is not built by the hand of man. It is the one I seek in each of you. You, My children of Light, who will build with Me, in the invisible supernatural, the Great Sanctuary of Reconciliation of all the children of the earth.

“I have not seen any temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord himself, the Almighty God, the Lamb”

The Third Temple is the very expression of God’s Rest, having gathered all His Children. Built in all the spirits inhabited by the Holy Spirit of God, it will appear on the great Day of God on earth.

He is the Heavenly Jerusalem descending among you. This Temple is the homeland of all men called by God. It’s mystical with the Love of God. He will build his walls made of Light and sounds to heaven, to introduce the children of the Earth into the New Virginal Conception, the same one of which all the souls of Divine Creation were born, so that the children of this time may become like the Son of God.

This Temple calls souls to the Divinity of Jesus Christ. It will be built up by the Spirit of God. This Third Temple is Jesus Christ himself.

“Jesus, the New Adam, inaugurates by His virginal conception, the NEW BIRTH OF THE CHILDREN OF ADOPTION IN THE HOLY SPIRIT BY FAITH. Participation in divine life does not come “from the blood or from the will of the flesh, but from God” (Jn 1:13). The welcome of this life is virginal, because it is totally given to man by the Spirit.” (CIC 505)

“The Son of God accepts the poverty of my flesh in order to make me enter into the possession of His Divinity.” And he says: “The divine image that I had received, I myself did not know how to save. This is why the Word became a participant in my flesh, thus returning to my soul the Image of God and salvation… and to my flesh immortality.”

This Temple of Light will be born of all your spirits gathered by the Holy Spirit of God. It is the Third Temple, it is your Lord who comes to gather you. Do not be afraid, which I will make myself known. You, make me love. You are all, with My Beloved Son, this Holy Temple of the City of God.

May 27, 2007 – Pentecost

We are “derived” from two Lights: That of the First Day, when God separated the Light from darkness; was on the morning of the First Day (Gen 1:4-5). If man had been born before JESUS Christ, he would never have been able to “see” the day of His birth without this First Day of the world when the Light began to exist.

And what then would this body with a dead soul for Life in God do if the Light of the Victor Christ had never come out of this Tomb?

“It’s not here; risen!” (Lk 24:6), He, the Light of Life.

Tuesday, 11 March 1997

Look at the Union of the Sons of the Cross.

This People, who celebrated the departure of Egypt on the 14th of that month, when they ate standing this month, which will be the first month of the year for the Jewish People – and for us – that same day that God, Our Father, chose to bring us out, too, of the slavery of sin, by the Holy Glorious Cross, appeared to Magdalene , on March 28, 1972, which is also the 14th Nissân of our century.
Yes, your bread is unleavened. Yes, the lamb is without his blood, but it comes to mark you on the foreheads and no drop will be wasted, because The Jewish Passover is a memorable Sign for all generations and you will celebrate yourselves!

To Moses, God says, “It is a perpetual decree.”

God says in Dozulé: “Go all in procession to the region in which the Glorious Cross appeared; go and repent there: there you will find Peace and Joy there. JESUS asks that a solemn Feast be celebrated there every year on 28 March.

“Notum fecit Dominus a Magdalena Salutare Suum “, which means:

The Lord made known by Magdalene His Salvation;was, in the Church of Dozulé, Good Friday, March 28, 1975, of the Holy Year 1975.

Behold, My daughter, what I ask you to repeat to My People, he who, today, continues to cross the arid wilderness.

Will you now raise up your tents and cross the last river that still apart from Me?

People of God, I myself will make you cross the Jordan and bring down the walls of Jerico.

Today, it will be through My Cross that you will pass to the other shore and that the walls will fall… and that men shall gather among themselves, to come, all gathered together, to My Holy Glorious Cross, in which I await you.

It is still the Promised Land to your parents.

This earth is not the conquest of man, because no man can be lord of what he possesses, neither in earthly goods, nor even of his own children, because everything belongs to Me, everything comes from God and everything returns to God: Only God decides everything.
Deliver yourselves to let your heart seduce!

This New Earth, I bless it myself; but you must teach your children and the children of your children what God has done for you. This Promise, I, the Eternal, will keep it: I make a New Covenant with you, peoples of the earth. You are My children, the stars of Abraham, the posterity of the Believers. No one can count them. Only I know your number.

This is the earth that I should have already given you; since My visit to Abraham, under the oak of Mambré, she was already in My Thought: abraham’s posterity, future generations.
Abraham believed Me and obeyed Me in everything, even in Isaac’s sacrifice.

He was already the first sacrificed, as my Father and My Most Holy Mother were, before Me, His Divine Son.

Yes, Abraham is great, in the eyes of God.

And that is why today, through the sacred gates of the Heavenly Jerusalem, to the twelve Gates which are named after the twelve tribes of the Israelites, by the twelve Foundations of the wall which are based on them, by the twelve names of the Holy Apostles of the Lamb who has each of these foundations,

This City blessed and blessed her My Father, and all who come to repent at the foot of the Glorious Cross which is the Gate of My New Jerusalem, I myself will resurrect them by the Spirit of My Father: they will find in her peace and joy (31″ apparition).

It is the Covenant of all Covenants, that of My New and Eternal Covenant
with My People Purified and Sanctified in the Blood of the Lamb who comes to illuminate with His Holy Glory, His Holy Glorious Cros

God, Lord of all, is the whole Temple illuminated with His Holy Glory.

The Cross of Glory is placed in the midst of His New Jerusalem.

At the foot of His Cross, JESUS will return to His Father his united church, completely purified, his united people, completely purified.

The New Earth and New Heavens will come when My Door opens. My Glorious Holy Cross is the Door of the Eighth Day; proclaim it upon all the roofs.

The People originated from Abraham will be the custodian of the promise made to the patriarchs, the chosen people, called to prepare one day the unity of the Church of all the children of God. These people will be the root upon which the pagans become believers will be grafted” (CIC 60)

“Even more, when one considers the future, God’s people of the Old Covenant and the new People of God tend towards similar purposes: the waiting for the Coming (or return) of the Messiah. However, the return of the Messiah, dead and risen, recognized as Lord and Son of God, and on the Side of the Hebrews, the Coming of the Messiah – whose traits remain covered up at the end of time, is expected accompanied by the drama of ignorance or ignorance of Christ Jesus” (CIC 840)

“To reunite all His children- that sin dispersed and disaved, the Father wanted to summon all mankind in the Church of His Son. The Church is the place where humanity must re-find its unity and salvation. She’s “the reconciled world.” She is this ship that “sails well in this world at the breath of the Holy Spirit, with the sails of the Lord’s Cross fully unfurled.” According to another image by the Fathers of the Church, it is figured by Noah’s Ark, the only one that saves from the flood.” (CIC 845).

“Thanks to the common origin, the human race forms a Unity. For God “of one made the whole human race”(Act 17:26) By virtue of this “unity of the human race”, all men are involved in Adam’s sin, as all are implied in the Righteousness of Christ.

“Wonderful vision that makes us contemplate the human race in the unity of its origin in God; in the unity of its nature composed equally in all of a material body and a spiritual soul; in the unity of his immediate end and his mission in the world; in the unity of their habitat: the land, whose goods all men, by natural right, can use to sustain and develop life; in the unity of his supernatural end: God Himself, to whom all must strive; in the unity of the means to achieve this end; in the unity of his rescue, carried out for the behalf of all by Christ. This Law of human solidarity and charity, without excluding the rich variety of people, cultures and peoples, assures us that all men are truly brothers and sisters.” (Pius XII)

Undone the Unity of the Human Race by sin, God seeks first of all to save humanity by passing through each of its parts.

The Covenant with Noah after the flood expresses the principle of divine economy to the “nations”, that is, to men grouped “according to their countries, each according to their language, and according to their clans” (Gen 10:5) The Covenant with Noah remains in force throughout the time of the Nations (Lk 21:24), until the universal proclamation of the Gospel.

The Bible venerates some great figures of the “Nations”, such as “Abel the righteous”, the king-priest Melqisedeque, figure of Christ, or the righteous “Noe, Daniel, and Job.”

Thus, Scripture expresses that a high degree of holiness can reach those who live according to The Covenant of Noe, in the expectation that Christ will “aggregate in unity all the scattered children of God (Jn 11:52)

“To reunite all His children- that sin dispersed and disaved, the Father wanted to summon all mankind in the Church of His Son. The Church is the place where humanity must re-find its unity and salvation. She’s “the reconciled world.” She is this ship that “sails well in this world at the breath of the Holy Spirit, with the sails of the Lord’s Cross fully unfurled.”

According to another image by the Fathers of the Church, she is pictured by Noah’s Ark, the One who saves from the flood.” (CIC 845).

The word “Church” means “convocation.”

It designates assemblies of the people (At 19:39), usually of a religious character.

By calling itself the “Church” the first community of those who create in Christ, the heir to this assembly is recognized.

In it, God “summons” his People from all ends of the earth.

The term “kyriaká” from which “Church” derives, “Kirche”, means “to which it belongs to the Lord”.

In Christian language, the word “Church” designates the liturgical assembly, but also the local community or the entire universal community of believers.

These 3 meanings are inseparable.

“The world was created in the view of the Church,” christians of the early times said.

God created the world in view of Communion with His Divine Life, communion that is accomplished by the “convocation” of men in Christ, and this “convocation” is the Church.

The Church is the purpose of all things (Holy Epifanium)

“and the painful vicissitudes themselves, such as the fall of angels and the sin of man, were only allowed by God as an opportunity and a half to unfold the full strength of His Arm, all the measure of love he wanted to give to the world; just as the Will of God is an act and is called the world, so his intention is the salvation of men and is called the Church. (Saint Clement of Alexandria)

This mysterious renewal, which will transform humanity and the world, Sacred Scripture calls it “New Heavens and New Land” (2 Pt 3:13). It will be the definitive realization of God’s plan to “gather together” under one chief, Christ, all things, those in Heaven and those on earth” (Eph 1:10) In this “new universe,” the heavenly Jerusalem, God will have His Dwelling Place among men. “He shall wipe away every tear from his eyes, for there shall never be death, no more mourning, no cry, and no more pain. Yes! The old stuff’s gone! (Ap 21.4)

For man, this consummation will be the ultimate realization of the unity of the human race, desired by God since creation and of which the pilgrimage Church was “like a sacrament”.

The mission of Christ and the Holy Spirit takes place in the Church, Body of Christ and Temple of the Holy Spirit. This joint mission now associates the faithful of Christ with His Communion with the Father in the Holy Spirit: the Spirit prepares men, anticipates them by His Grace, to attract them to Christ. The Risen Lord reminds them of His Word, opening their spirit to their understanding of His Death and Resurrection. It makes them present the Mystery of Christ, eminently in the Eucharist, in order to reconcile them in Communion with God, in order to make them bear “much fruit” (Jn 15:5-8)

Thus, the Church’s mission is not added to that of Christ and of the Holy Spirit, but of the Sacrament of Hers: for all Her Being and in all her members, the Church is sent to proclaim and witness to, update and spread the Mystery of Communion of the Holy Trinity.

Those who are united to Christ will form the community of the redeemed, the Holy City of God (Rev 21:2), “The Wife of the Lamb” (Rev 21:9) (CIC 1042-1045)

The Church is in history, but at the same time transcends i

It is only “with the eyes of faith” that one can see in His visible reality, at the same time, a spiritual reality, bearer of divine life.

The Church is characterized by being human and at the same time divine, visible, but endorded with invisible gifts, operated in action and devoted to contemplation; present in the world, and yet, pilgrim. And this so that in it the human is condemned to the divine and to Him is subordine, the visible to the invisible, the action to contemplation and the present to the future City, which we seek” (SC 2)

“O humility! O sublimity! Cedar Tabernacle and Sanctuary of God; Earthly address and Celestial palace; mud house and Royal room; Body of death and Temple of Light; finally, contempt for the proud and Wife of Christ! You are Black, but beautiful, O Daughter of Jerusalem: though disfigured by the labor and pain of long exile, heavenly beauty adorns you” (St Bernard)

To look into the Mystery of the Church, it is appropriate to meditate first on Its origin in the design of the Holy Trinity and on its progressive realization in the course of history.

“The Eternal Father, by libérrimo and arcane design of His Wisdom and Goodness, created the whole universe; he decided to elevate men to the Communion of divine life”, to which he calls all men in His Son: “All who believe in Christ, the Father wanted to call them to form the Holy Church”. This “family of God” is constituted and gradually realized throughout the stages of human history, according to the dispositions of the Father. Indeed, “from the origin of the world the Church has been forefigured. It was admirably prepared in the history of the People of Israel and in the Old Covenant. It was founded lately. It was manifested by the Effusion of the Spirit. And at the end of time it will be gloriously consummated” (LG 2)

The grace of the People of God begins at the moment when sin destroys the Communion of men with God and that of men among themselves.

The Church’s call is so to speak God’s reaction to the chaos caused by sin.

The distant preparation of the meeting of the People of God begins with the vocation of Abraham, whom God promises to be the father of a great People (Gen 12:2;15,5-6)

By his election, Israel must be the sign of the future grace of all nations (Is 2:2-5; Mq 4.1-4)

“The People originated from Abraham will be the custodian of the Promise made to the patriarchs, the chosen people, called to prepare, one day, the unity of the Church, of all the children of God. These people will be the root upon which the pagans become believers will be grafted” (CIC 60)

“The coming of the glorious Messiah depends, in every moment in history, on his recognition for “all Israel.” A part of this Israel “hardened” (Rom 11:25), in unbelief with Jesus.

São Paulo says:

If their rejection has resulted in the reconciliation of the world, what will be their welcome but the life that comes from the dead?”

The entry of the “fullness of the Jews” into messianic salvation, after the “fullness of the pagans,” will give the People of God the possibility of reaching “the stature of Christ in his fullness” (Eph 4:13), in which “God is all in all” (1 Cor 15:28)(CIC 674)

“The Church is one, holy, Catholic and apostolic in her profound and ultimate identity, because it is in her that already exists and will be consummated, at the end of time, the “Kingdom of Heaven”, “The Kingdom of God”, which came in the Person of Christ and mysteriously grows in the hearts of those who are incorporated into it, until its full eschatological manifestation. Then all men redeemed by Him, made in Him “holy and immaculate in the presence of God and in Love”, will be gathered together as the one People of God, “the Wife of the Lamb,” “the Holy City descent from Heaven, with God, with the glory of God in It”- the city wall had 12 foundations, upon them were the names of the 12 Apostles of the Lamb” (Rev 21:14). (CIC 865)

Sacred Scripture opens with the creation of man and woman in the Image and Likeness of God (Gen 1:26-27) if it closes with the vision of the “Nuptials of the Corderio” (Rev 19:7)

From one end to the other, Scripture speaks of marriage and its “Mystery”, its institution and the meaning given to it by God, its origin and its end, its various achievements throughout the history of salvation, its difficulties arising from sin and its renewal “in the Lord” (1 Cor 7:39), in the New Covenant of Christ and of the Church(Eph 5:31-32)(CIC 1602)

“It is not good that man is alone” (Gen 2:18)

The woman, “flesh of her flesh” (Gen 2:23), that is, like him, very close to him, was given to her by God as an “aid” (Gen 2:18), thus representing “God, in whom is our help” (Sl 121,2)

“For this time a man leaves his father and mother, joins his wife, and they become one flesh” (Gen 2:24).

That this means an unfailing unity of his two lives, the Lord Himself shows him remembering what was, “in origin”, the creator’s plan (Mt 19:4). “So that there are no longer 2, but one meat” (Mt 19,6)(CIC 1605)

The marriage covenant between God and His People Israel had prepared the New and Eternal Covenant in which the Son of God, incarnated and given his life, united himself in a certain way with all the humanity saved by Him thus preparing “the Nuptials of the Lamb” (Rev 19:7,9)(CIC 1612)

All Christian life bears the mark of the spousal love of Christ and of the Church.

Baptism, which is entered into the People of God, is a Nuptial Mystery: it is so to speak, the bath of the Nuptials (Eph 5:26-27) that precedes the Wedding Feast, the Eucharist.

Christian Marriage, in turn, becomes an effective sign, the Sacrament of the Covenant of Christ and of the Church. Marriage is a true Sacrament of the New Covenant, for it means and communicates Grace. (CIC 1617)

“The virgins that make Up His procession will be brought to the King. All His companions will be brought into His Presence, O King, singing with joy. They shall be consecrated to the Lord within the temple” (Sle 44:15-16)

Christ is the center of all Christian life. The bond with Him is first, in front of all other bonds, family or social(Lk 14:26; Mc 10.28-31).

From the beginning of the Church, there have been men and women who have renounced the great good of Marriage to follow the Lamb wherever he went(Rev 14:4), to deal with the things of the Lord, to seek to please him(1 Cor 7:32) to meet the Next Bee (Mt 25:6).

Christ Himself invited some to follow him in this way of life, whose model remains Himself:

“There are eunuchs who were born thus from the mother’s womb. And there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men. And there are eunuchs who have become eunuchs because of the Kingdom of Heaven. Anyone who has the capacity to understand understand! (Mt 19.12) (CIC 1618)

Virginity for the Kingdom of Heaven is an unfolding of baptismal grace, a powerful sign of the preeminence of the bond with Christ, of the ardent expectation of His Return, a sign that also reminds us that Marriage is a reality of the figure of this passing world. (Mc 12.25) (CIC 1619)

Both the Sacrament of Matrimony and virginity for the Kingdom of God come from the Lord Himself. It is he who gives them meaning and grants them the indispensable grace to live them in accordance with His Will (Mt 19:3-12). The esteem of virginity because of the Kingdom and the Christian’s feeling of marriage are inseparable and help each other:

To denigrate Marriage is at the same time to diminish the glory of virginity; to praise it is to highlight the admiration that is due to virginity… because, after all, what does not seem good but compared to evil cannot truly be a good, but what is even better than undeniable goods is the good par excellence” (St John Chrysostom)(CIC 1620)

The Lord himself called himself “the bridegroom” (Mk 2:19).

The Apostle presents the Church and each believer, a member of His Body, as a Wife “beared” with Christ the Lord, to be with him one Spirit. She is the immaculate Wife of the Immaculate Lamb. She has associated himself with an eternal Covenant and she never ceases to care as of His Own Body.

This mystery is great – I say this with reference to Christ and to the Church (Eph 5:31-32). The Lord himself says in the Gospel:

“You are no longer 2, but one flesh” (Mt 19:6)

As you have seen, there are indeed two different people, and yet they constitute one thing in the conjugal union.

“As a Head he says “Spouse”, as a Body he says “Wife” (St. Augustine)(CIC 796)

St Paul calls the Spousal Union between Christ and the Church a “great mystery” (Eph 5:32). Because she is united to Christ as her Spouse, the Church herself also becomes a Mystery (Eph 3:9-11).

Its structure is wholly ordained to the holiness of the members of the Mystical Body of Christ. And holiness is measured according to the “great Mystery” in which the Bride responds with the gift of love to the gift of the Bridegroom” (Mulieris dignitatem 27)

“The Church… he will have His consummation in heavenly glory” (LG48) when Christ returns gloriously. Until that day, “The Church advances on Her pilgrimage through the persecutions of the world and the consolations of God” (St. Augustine).

Here on earth, he knows that he is in exile, far from the Lord(2 Cor 5:6) and aspires to the full advent of the Kingdom, “the hour when She shall be, in Glory, gathered to His King” (LG 5). The consummation of the Church and through it, that of the world, in Glory, will not happen without great trials. Only then, “all the righteous, from Adam, then Abel the righteous, to the last elect, will be gathered together with the Father in the universal Church” (LG 48)

Before the advent of Christ, the Church must go through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers(Lk 18:8; Mt 24.12).

The persecution that accompanies Her pilgrimage on earth (Lk 21:12) will unravel the “mystery of wickedness” in the form of a religious imposture that will bring men an apparent solution to their problems, at the expense of the Apostasy of Truth. The supreme religious imposture is that of the anti-Christ, that is, that of pseudo-messianism in which man glorifies himself in place of God and His Messiah who came in the flesh(2 Thess 2:4-12). The Church will only enter into the glory of the Kingdom through this final Passover, in which she will follow Her Lord in His Death and Resurrection. Therefore, the kingdom will not be made by a historical triumph of the Church (Rev 13:8) according to ascending progress, but by a Victory of God over the ultimate unleashing of evil (Rev 20:7-10) which will bring His Wife down from Heaven(Rev 21:2-4). God’s triumph over the revolt of evil will take the form of the Last Judgment (Rev 20:12) after the ultimate cosmic shock of this passing world(2 Pt 3:12-13). On the day of judgment, on the occasion of the end times, Christ will come in glory to realize the definitive triumph of good over evil, which, like wheat and tares, will have grown together throughout history. (CIC 675-681)
